You close the front door to go and watch the sunset and find that the keys have been left inside, or you come back from dinner and the cylinder will not turn. In Nerja, where almost one in four registered residents comes from another country, people come and go with suitcases, copies of keys and short lets. If it happens to you, a WhatsApp message with your address is all you need to get started.
Nerja is the easternmost municipality of the Axarquía, some fifty kilometres from Málaga and right up against the peaks of the Sierra de Almijara. The Old Town (Casco Antiguo), with the Balcón de Europa looking out over the sea, mixes whitewashed façades, squares and lanes. Close to the sea are Burriana, with its beach and promenade, and Torrecilla, and to the west Punta Lara, a district of villas next to the beach. On the hillsides, Capistrano Village surprises with white houses and cobbled streets, and further east is Maro, a small village beside the caves, famous for their prehistoric paintings.
As in few other places, village houses, holiday apartments, villas with a pool and farms with subtropical crops among the hills all accumulate here. Each type of home calls for a different lock and a different way of treating the door. Tell us your area, the type of home and send a photo of the lock, and our locksmiths will prepare the job with what you need.
