You have gone out for a stroll on the beach, the apartment door closes behind you and the keys are left on the bedside table. Or the guests in your holiday rental leave and nobody knows how many copies of the key are still out there. In Torre del Mar, the main beach town of the municipality of Vélez-Málaga, these situations multiply in summer and on long weekends. Message us on WhatsApp with your street and our locksmiths will reply at any hour, including public holidays.
Torre del Mar stretches between the Vélez river and the Seco river, some thirty-three kilometres east of Málaga, and the N-340 road splits it in two. In the oldest part, around the hill of La Viña, there are narrow streets and low houses, and the old districts of La Parroquia, La Viña, Casas Nuevas and El Castillo mark the origins of the town. But its present look was shaped by the boom of the 1960s: wide avenues, apartment blocks and a very long seafront promenade, with the lighthouse (Faro) at one end and the Paseo de Larios, which links the beach with the church of San Andrés.
It is a place where long-standing locals live alongside seasonal visitors, and that shows in the locks: busy entrance halls, beach apartments whose keys change hands, and old houses and villas from another era that hold up as best they can. If you tell us which area you are in and what kind of door you have, our locksmiths prepare the job from the very first message.
